Military Outreach

Heritage Church wants to provide a place for soldiers and their families to have a home away from home. A place to find family, friendship, support, and spiritual growth. Here are a few ways that we want to reach out to the newcomers and the individuals stationed long-term at Fort Rucker!

Groups and Events

Study Hall

We will have our youth chapel open for anyone that needs a place to study, hang out, or just be away from your quarters. We will provide wifi, games, tv, and a mini cafe. We would love for you to come and bring your friends. There will be staff on sight to help with any of your needs!

Church Involvement

If you are interested in becoming a part of any ministry at Heritage Church we would love to meet with you! We are always eager to help people get where God is calling them and to help support them along the way.

9mm Range

Training will be provided for those that are in need of practice with a handgun. Guns and ammo are provided, however if you bring your own weapon, it must be registered with the base first. Please print and fill out the liability waiver below, then, bring it with you to the range. If you don't have a way of printing the form, there will be forms available the day of training.

Military Small Group

This is a church small group that meets on Sunday mornings in our education building. You will have the opportunity to grow in your faith with others that are in your same stage of life.

Anchors of Hope

Welcome to our church's community outreach program! We are dedicated providing spiritual and physical support to those in need. Each month, we deliver food to families and maintain a blessing box on Rucker Blvd. where anyone can access canned food to fill in the gaps. Our volunteers are here to assist with any needs you may have, offering a helping hand and a compassionate heart. If you need help please call the office (334) 347-1991

Vacation Bible School

Join us for a fun-filled week at our annual Vacation Bible School from July 20th to July 24th.

Each afternoon, your kids will enjoy dinner, arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and even a little science, all while experiencing the joy of God’s love. Our Garden Ministry

Welcome to our church's garden! While it may be small, it is full of potential and ready to flourish. Our dedicated team lovingly plants and nurtures seasonal vegetables and fruits each week, including potatoes, carrots, squash, blueberries, and pears. When the time comes, we joyfully share our harvest with the church. If you have a passion for gardening, enjoy hands-on work, and love giving back, this is the perfect place for you! We would love to have you join our garden ministry.
