What We Believe

We believe in one God, who exists from eternity as Trinity, three in one.

We believe in God the Father, creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son and our Lord.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, God with us, proceeding from the Father and the Son, who empowers the church for ministry, grants spiritual gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ, and who leads us into lives of love and holiness.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that “all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe in the resurrection. After suffering on the cross for our sins, Jesus rose three days later in victory as the firstborn from the dead and that one day "the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”" (2 Corinthians 15:54) 

We believe that the church exists to be God’s holy people who serve as a light in the darkness and that we have the both the privilege and the command to showcase the goodness of God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God's church extends across the globe to include people of all nations, tribes, people groups, and tongues. 

We believe in God's salvation; that any who would call on the name of the Lord will be saved. This salvation is not just a future hope, but a present reality that we are called to live as we seek the Lord and grow in holiness.

We believe that God's grace is at work long before we recognize it, drawing every person toward Himself. Through faith in Christ we are forgiven, made right with God, and continually transformed by the Holy Spirit to love God and our neighbor.
