During this advent season take the time to talk with your little ones about the Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love that Christ offers to all of us. With so much happening in our world that is so visible to our kids' eyes and ears it is important that they know that with Jesus there is nothing to fear. He came and conquered all things once and for all so that we can live out our purpose through Him and for Him. Heritage wishes you all the best this Christmas and we pray the blessings of the Savior abound in your homes and in your hearts.
New to Kids Connection?
Here is a little bit about our schedule, where to find us, and what we do!
On Sunday mornings our babies 6wks - 4 years old meet in the Little Lambs nursery downstairs in the Education building at 9:30 and 10:45! We offer a safe space for your little ones to learn about the love of God through play!
Across the hall, our Pre-K - 2nd grade kids meet for momentum small group time at 9:30am. Our 3rd-6th grade students meet upstairs at 9:30 as well.
After the music portion of our worship service pre-k - 2nd graders return to their downstairs classroom for children's church while our 3rd - 6th graders remain in the service. We do provide sermon note sheets for them to practice taking notes each week.
On Wednesday nights, our kindergarten - 6th grade kids meet with Mrs. Dana downstairs in the education building at 6:00! Here they go a little more in depth in their study of the word.

In scripture it says that to enter the kingdom of heaven you must have faith like a child. At Heritage we want to see our kids know who Jesus is and to plant the seeds that will grow into a strong and steady faith as they grow and change. We want to teach our kids the importance of learning the Bible for themselves so that it becomes a part of their lives now. We hope that by making Jesus and scripture real to them that as they become teens and young adults they have a compass to help them navigate our complicated world.

We would love to have your little ones come enjoy our nursery facilities. We have wonderful nursery volunteers who want to ensure that your child has a great experience.
Here are some of the things you can expect during a nursery stay:
Snacks, free play, puzzles, story time, music, and a loving environment to learn about Jesus.
If your child is potty training, feel free to discuss this with one of our volunteers at drop off and they will accommodate your needs as best they can.
The nursery will have a card for first time visitors to fill out where you can list any specific needs your child may have. We look forward to caring for your sweet little lambs!
